"My dad ran into Eric at a gas station in Mio getting newspaper and got his info. Previously had a couple quotes from other tree removal companies, but never able to get on phone to schedule or get any call backs. So left Eric a message thinking the same would happen, but within 20 min he called back and was able to come out that night to take a look. After got a quote which included the company's insurance info, I was able to get his crew out within 10 days. Great customer service from beginning to completion of work and the crew was very dedicated and skilled. All my trees were around buildings, power lines, etc. No issues. Even able to add two more trees for my neighbor to get cut. Highly recommend — Eric, Mark, Donnie — and when I need some trees cut on property that are difficult, will surely call again! "After the big Northern Michigan ice storm in March 2025, like many folks around here, I had a mess on my hands. I live out in the Perry Lake area of Fairview, and the storm left several trees of all sizes blocking my winding dirt drive. One large tree had come down on my deck, and another dead one was threatening my house. Monkey Man Tree Service came through when I really needed help. Despite the road conditions, they were quick to respond and even cleared parts of the main road just to get to my property. Once they got here, they worked hard to clear my drive, safely removed the tree from my deck, and took down the dead tree that was too close for comfort — all at what I felt was a very fair price. Their crew was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I'm planning to have them back later this year to check out the other trees near my home and get an estimate for more work.
